Blog Makeover

It has been a long time coming, but I finally broke down and got a custom blog layout. I have been wanting one for a while, but couldn't really decide if it was worth it. Now that I have it though, I love it! A big thanks to Krizzy Designs for designing it! It looks great, and it was well worth it! If you or anyone you know is looking for a custom blog, I would definitely recommend using Krizzy Designs!

Fun at the Park

On Tuesday of this week, Jaime and I took the kids to the park in our apartment complex. While we were there the kids took turns going down the "Fire Fighter Pole" (that's what Jenny calls it). They both had a great time!

Temper Tantrums

Apparently temper tantrums are exhausting. The reason I say this is because after coming inside earlier this morning, Aiden pitched a huge fit to go back outside and finally got in our coat closet and closed the door. The whole time he was screaming and crying, and all the while I was doing what all good mothers would do....photographing the whole thing! ;-)

About 15 minutes after he was done throwing his fit, I walked into his room and found him asleep on the floor. Apparently pitching a fit is a lot of hard work! Or maybe he just got up too early. Either way, I was thankful he took a nap - otherwise it would have been a loooonnng day!

Wordless Wednesday: Read Across America Day

Today is Dr. Seuss' birthday, and also Read Across America Day! Lately, Aiden has started gaining more interest in books and I am so glad! I love reading, and I hope he will grow up and have an appreciation for books. Here is a picture of him reading one of his favorite books, "How Big".

Spring, Is That You??

For the last couple of weeks the weather here has really started warming up. I am hoping that this weather is the start of Spring, and it isn't just a little tease of what we can expect in a few months. Haha. It isn't even March yet, so there is still a chance that the temperatures will drop again. Let's all cross our fingers that the temperatures will stay warm!

Since it has been so nice out, the kids and I have spent a lot of time outside. Earlier today I took the kids to the playground in our complex to play. It's not as good as the playground at the park, and there are no swings, but the kids still enjoy it. Plus, it is a lot less crowded than a park, sometimes we are the only ones there. This time Aiden found a soccer ball that had been left there by someone else. I'm thinking it may have been left there on purpose tough, because the ball was pretty flat and may have had a hole in it. Aiden and Jenny still had fun playing with it though!

We are really enjoying this warmer weather!
