Guess What!!

Can you guess what Aiden learned to do???

Yep, that's right...he's feeding himself with a fork! Yay, Aiden!! Plus, this makes my job a whole lot easier. Now while he's eating, I can eat with less interruption. It's also great when I have something else to do, like loading the dishwasher. =)

And look...
He's not even making a mess! Although, sometimes I'm not so lucky. =)

Granny & Kandi's Visit: Day Four & Five

On Wednesday we went to Yellow River Game Ranch. It's similar to a zoo, but some of the animals aren't in cages and they will walk right up to you for you to feed. You are really supposed to buy food to feed them  with there, things like: dog food, dried kernel corn, cat food, carrots, etc. But, since we had 4 kids and 3 adults that would be feeding the animals, we brought our own bag of dog food. Shhh...don't tell! =)

Afterwards we let the kids play on the playground that was there.

On Thursday, we went to the Georgia Aquarium. We had fun, but I don't think it was worth what we paid to get in.

This is from the 3D show we saw when we were there. It was about pollution in the oceans. It really made us think about the oil spill. =(

Granny & Kandi's Visit: Day Three

On Tuesday we took Kylee and Jenny to the Babyland General Hospital. It's the 'hospital' where the Cabbage Patch Babies are born at. It's also a really big gift shop were you can buy Cabbage Patch Dolls and their accessories. I have been there before when I was a little girl, and it was a lot of fun to take my own kids there now. Especially since they opened a new and more updated one! Afterwards we went to the Suwanee Water Park. Last time Aiden hated it, and this time he loved it! Here are a few pictures....

I loved the artwork!

Kylee got to pick the baby's middle name, she named her after Jennifer. Her name was Emily Jennifer.

Granny & Kandi's Visit: Day One and Two

This past weekend my mom, Aiden, Matthew (my cousin), and I all went to Alabama. We left on Friday and came home Saturday. When we came back we left Matthew to stay with his Nana for a week, and brought back my grandmother, my cousin (Kandi), and Kandi's daughter Kylee. They are staying with us for a week. While they have been here, we have been trying to do something everyday. Because we've had a pretty busy week, I'm going to try and break up the events into different posts.

By the time we got home on Saturday it was already dinner time. So, we went out to eat with Vickie, Paul, Andrew, and Jacob to Stevie B's. We ate, caught up, and then let the kids play in the game room. (I don't have any pictures from this night).

On Sunday we went to the Mall of Georgia to look for a purse for my grandmother. Afterwards Jenny's mom dropped her off and we went to Malibu Grand Prix to ride the go-karts, bumper boats, and to play minuature golf. Before bedtime, Jenny and Kylee had a tea party with Jaime. =) Here are a few pictures from our day....

On Monday, Billy Haylie, Kandi, and I went to Six Flags. We had a lot of fun, and rode a lot of great rides! The kids stayed with my mom and grandmother. They played in the sprinkler and in their backyard, and had a great time! I wasn't able to get a lot of pictures from Six Flags because I couldn't take my phone or camera on the rides, and we left our stuff locked up in the lockers most of the day.
Later that evening we went to the Laser Show at Stone Mountain Park. Jenny has been with us once before, but Aiden has never been. Last time Jenny was scared of the fireworks, but this time it didn't bother her too much. Aiden didn't really seem to be scared of them either. Here are a few pictures from that day.....

It's time to start teaching this boy some manners! =)

Well, that's a recap of our first few days. Next up: Babyland General Hospital and the Suwanee Water Park....

Videos

Back in December, I put together some pictures of the kids and made videos of them to give as gifts. I made one of Aiden and Jenny to give to Jaime, and another of Jenny to give to her mother. The reason I'm just now posting this is because I have decided that I'm going to make some new videos of the kids. There are two reasons for my decision, (1)I have taken a TON of pictures of them since then, and their videos could use some updating, (2)Since I am a stay at home mom, I will have the time to redo their videos, and (3)I've been looking into some new programs I can use to make them so that they'll be even better than before!

Right now I am working on getting them put together and finding the right program to use. But for now, I figured I'd post the videos I made of them in December for you all to view before their new ones are ready. So, here goes...
