Interview with Aiden

I saw this on a few other blogs, and thought I would ask Aiden these questions. Some of his responses were pretty funny....

What is your name? Aiden

How old are you? Two and a half

What is your favorite color? Green

Who is your best friend? Jenny

What is your favorite animal? Lion

What do you want to be when you grow up? I grow up sometimes

What is your favorite movie? Rango (he has never seen Rango)

What is your favorite book? Buzz Lightyear

What makes you happy? A party

What makes you sad? I don't know

What is your favorite food to eat? Popsicles

What is your favorite song to sing? Jesus Loves Me

What games do you like to play? Donkey Kong (he watches Jenny play this on the Wii)

I'm going to do a survey like this with Jenny next week. Maybe I'll interview them both every so many months to see how their answers change.

Sleepy Heads

This morning I woke the kids up early because we were meeting up with a friend at Monkey Joe's for a playdate. When I walked into their room, this is what I saw:

Funny thing is, last night Aiden asked me if he and Jenny could sleep in the same bed. I said yes, but I assumed they would actually sleep in a bed. Apparently they decided to take it one step further, and just have a slumber party. Haha!

Lake Lanier

Yesterday Jaime, the kids, and I loaded up bags of snacks, a cooler with drinks, and our beach stuff and headed to Lake Lanier to the beach. Since there are only three weeks of summer left, we are trying to make the most of what time we have left before school starts.

Aiden and Jenny were feeding these ducks some pretzels. Jenny would throw the pretzels to the ducks, but Aiden just chased them around trying to give the pretzels to them. Haha!

Jenny was so afraid the ducks were going to bite Aiden. Aiden chased the ducks, and Jenny chased Aiden trying to get him to stop.

Eating a popsicle.

Jenny and her mud beard.

Aiden's beard.

There were lots of jet skis in the water which caused waves, and made the sand under the water look really cool. Jenny kept saying we were at the ocean instead of the lake because there were waves. Too bad the waves weren't nearly as big as waves in the ocean.  :)

Walking in the Park

On Saturday, we went with my parents and their neighbor to one of our local parks. We walked the trail for a while and then we let Aiden play on the playground at the park. I tried to get a few pictures of Aiden since I don't have many good pictures of him recently. Here are are few of them:
